Analyst Playbook
Hi there!
Thank you for stopping by. My name is Cassie. I’ve been working in data for about five years now. I recently landed some job offers in this tough market, so I created this playbook to help you navigate it. I also documented it for myself because I tend to get forgetful, and I know my future self will appreciate this convenient playbook when I interview again. After immersing yourself in this playbook for a few days, you’ll feel confident and even enjoy interviews.
I like to keep things very simple. Here’s a sneak peek of the four building blocks:
- Block 1: How to introduce yourself in a simple and powerful way (usage is so high, it’s worth crafting carefully)
- Block 2: How to stand out in technical SQL (not just answering correctly and quickly)
- Block 3: How to write compelling stories about your past experiences (be memorable, show your rizz)
- Block 4: Product case study (showcase your organized creativity)
- Other random blocks: Traits hiring managers are looking for, questions you can ask that make you sound cool, body language/voice tips
I built this for senior data analysts interviews, but I have a philosophy that if you want to be above and beyond, you should aim for one or two levels higher. Thus, I’m proud of you, new grads, juniors, and mid-levels who are on your way to advancing.
You'll get an offer on an unexpected day
